Strength & Performance Experience

I’ve spent over a decade immersed in strength and performance training — as both an athlete and a coach. Competing in Strongwoman and Powerlifting, while mentoring athletes across multiple sports, has shaped my approach to developing strength, endurance, and confidence that lasts beyond competition.

My goal is to help athletes and clients reach their full potential through training systems that are proven, adaptable, and sustainable — built from real experience and athlete-tested results.

With over a decade of experience in athletic training and performance, both as a coach and an athlete, I bring a well-rounded and practical perspective to high-performance development. My athletic background is rooted in elite-level hockey, supported by a diverse multi-sport foundation including golf, badminton, triathlon, softball, soccer, and weightlifting. I have also actively competed in strength sports such as strongwoman and powerlifting, allowing me to offer a unique, multi-disciplinary approach to athletic development.

My approach combines athlete-tested training systems with highly individualized coaching methods to build strength, speed, and confidence — all while creating sustainable long-term habits. I continue to pursue high-performance training myself, bringing fresh, real-world insights to every coaching relationship I build.

Hockey

Taylor Woods brings over a decade of elite-level hockey experience, competing for top programs including the Notre Dame Hounds, Balmoral Hall Blazers, and Cornell University, where she served as Assistant Captain , where she was part of the Clarkson Cup Championship team in 2018. She also played with the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) and was a World Champion with Team Canada’s U18 National Team in 2011–2012. Additional achievements include winning the Esso Cup National Championship in 2011 and finishing as a finalist in 2010.

Recognized for her on-ice strength, ambidextrous skills, and leadership, Taylor now offers hockey-specific training designed to support athletes at all levels.She also provides video analysis for player development and offers one-on-one mentorship to guide athletes through their performance journey—both on and off the ice.
